Upgraded Salad #SaladLover

I love a pre made salad but they always seem to need a little something more. I like to find mixes that are good and add in extras that compliment the mix and make you want to eat the whole salad and look forward to eating it again.

This salad mix I found at Vons then I added chopped ripe avocado, seasoned croutons, a little bit of thousand island dressing and pistachios…I like to eat this on crackers like a multi grain or sourdough bread if I’m wanting something like avocado toast. But the salad alone is enough. This is super yummy!

Always Fresh Green Containers #Home #Food #Fresh

I absolutely love these things!! They actually work. When I get home from the grocery store, I wash the fruit or veggies immediately and put into these containers. I like to label them because then it is obviously easier to find what you are looking for. I used dry erase pens for these, posts-its work or maybe you can use a sharpie for things you always have. We are never without cucumbers so I could probably make a permanent one for that. Write the date on if you want, draw little pictures for the kiddos so they can learn their words, Tupperware Fun, who knew? Anyway, love these things, they stack great in the fridge and viola…fresh fruit and veggies that last longer.

#Patchouli Pillow Spray

I love Patchouli!! I originally had my heart set on Lavender because I saw this idea on Mama’s Blissful Bites and that’s what she did, plus I love lavender. But I figured I had enough lavender things already and Patchouli was on sale plus I really love the scent so…I gave it a whirl. The smell of Patchouli always reminds me of being on vacation in Hawaii for my honeymoon, they must have had a similar scent there. Perfect for a Pillow Spray 🙂

This is so incredibly easy!! I am only going to make my own Pillow Sprays from now on. Just pick up your favorite essential oil and distilled water. I like adding in little fancies to make it look pretty…for mine I put in little marbles, but I was thinking for the lavender it might be nice to put in real lavender, definitely would be pretty!

Anyway this all it takes…About 6-8 drops of your favorite essential oil. I got mine at Ulta Beauty Supply along with the little plastic bottles. I got two, I think I want to always make at least two of my projects to share one with a friend 🙂 The brand of the oil is Tisserand Aromatherapy, they have tons to choose from.
